Nobody ever learnt computer programming without creating, trying, executing, testing and fixing programs in the machine. No amount of theoretical Knowledge is of any use unless it is supplemented by good solid time spent in the labs. Keeping this in mind KICIT has set up world class infrastructure to be used by students while doing courses at KICIT. These include:

At KICIT after completion of each course students are encouraged to carry out Project work based on the contents covered in that course. Typically a group of 5-7 students work on the project. The Project work is intended to make the students market ready. This is done by making them work on our clients projects under the guidance of KICIT project managers. As a result the students came to know and experience the various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

At the end of the course students will be issued a certificate signed by Mr. Yashavant Kanetkar.

Hostel facility is available at KICIT for male students from outside Nagpur. There are only 10 seats in the hostel and they are made available on first come first served basis. Students would be required to pay Rs. 1000/- per month for the hostel facility. Cot, mattress, Bed sheet, pillow, table, chair would be provided to you. There are many messes available nearby. The approximate cost of food per month is Rs. 1200/- to 1500/. Many other boys and girls hostels are available within walking distance of KICIT.
